Laura’s Story

I had the pleasure of working with Lisa-Rose this summer when I returned to work after a long maternity leave.

The London School of Economics Career Service (the university from which I graduated) gave me contacts for several career coaches. Lisa-Rose immediately stood out thanks to her positive, down-to-earth approach and her deep knowledge of the recruitment process from both the company/recruiter and job seeker perspectives.

I really enjoyed collaborating with Lisa-Rose to identify my values and skills, which helped me crystallise my career options. Once we identified those, Lisa-Rose gave me practical advice on which jobs I should apply for and which I should pass, so I saved a lot of time and energy only applying to jobs, where I had a good chance of progressing to the next stage. The next step was to improve my cover letter writing and as previously, Lisa-Rose gave me clear and practical guidance on how to do it, so that recruiters pass it through screening.  

I have really enjoyed working with Lisa-Rose this summer and wholeheartedly recommend her for any job seeker.
